Runs 7-10pm on Monday nights starting 5th October 2009. There is no class on bank holiday 26th October and over Christmas and New Year no classes on 21st December, 28th December and 4th January.  Last class is 15th February 2010 and then the next 2 mondays are for assessments.
An advanced course, the syllabus of which includes chartwork, meteorology, a thorough knowledge of the "rules of the road", vessel stability, seamanship and safety. ISA/RYA certificate.

State Agency Crews

We offer training to:-

Coastguards, Civil Defence, Fishery Protection Officers, other state agency boat crews and RNLI crews.

Professional Skippers

We train Passenger Boat Skippers, Fishermen and Professional Yacht Masters to comply with Department of Transport or MCA [STCW95] manning requirements

We are an assessment centre for the ICC (International Certificate of Competence) and for C.E.V.N.I. (European Inland Waterways)
