BY ROAD:
Roundstone - From Galway City, take the N59 (Clifden Road) out of the city and pass through Moycullen, Oughterard, Maam Cross (Peacocks), Recess (Tigh Festi). About 4 miles after Recess and 40 miles from Galway, you need to take a left turn sign posted to Roundstone, immediately before a bridge. Stay on this Road for about 10 miles and you will reach Roundstone.
Ballconneely - From Galway City, take the N59 to Clifden. When you get to clifden, take the road (left) sign posted to Ballyconneely. As you arrive in Ballyconneely, you need to branch right directly after Keogh's Pub. Travel on this road for 3 miles and you will end up at Bunowen Pier. We are in the same area as the Connemara Smoke House.
